2017-18 Season

The new committee have been hard at work since elected and are delighted to announce just some of the things we have planned for the 2017-18 Season.

Kicking off on Saturday 2nd September, we will have a stall i Clonmel Arts Centre supporting the Arts in Clonmel at the ‘Start Together’ event.

On Thursday 7th September we have open readings in Clonmel Arts Centre, Nelson Street at 19.30 for our next Production, Ray Cooney’s ‘Funny Money’ to be staged as Dinner Theatre in Raheen House, Clonmel on 5th – 8th December 2017. Directed by Carol Acheson, Funny Money is the classic stage farce with lots of doors and general confusion and chaos giving the audience a comic spectacle. Contact Carol on 086 608 2504 if you would like to read or participate in any way. All are welcome.

On Friday 22nd September 2017, Guild actors will participate in ‘Culture Night’ activities in Clonmel. Promoting the work of writer Anthony Trollope who resided in Clonmel will be a theme of Clonmel’s Culture Night.

October will bring our annual pub quiz. More on that later.

December brings our Dinner Theatre Production of ‘Funny Money’ to Raheen House Hotel.

In May 2018 we plan to bring ‘Dancing at Lughnasa’, a classic & internationally acclaimed production written by the late Brain Friel and an excellent follow up to our ‘The Field’ success in the White Memorial Theatre.
