“Why is that so Funny?” Comedy Workshop

Clonmel Theatre Guild is delighted announce that well-known local Director and Performer Amy Hill returns to facilitate a comedy workshop “Why is that so funny?” on Saturday 15th October in St Oliver’s Community Hall, Clonmel from 2pm to 5pm.

About the Workshop

Amy has devised a three hour fun filled workshop based on the principles and practices of comedic performance for stage. This includes an exploration of physical comedy involving comic timing, line delivery, comedic presence, clowning, and parody. The workshop is based upon the research of renowned Director and Author John Wright. This is a perfect opportunity for amateur actors to develop and refine comedic skills for stage but is also applicable to those who have little experience in performance.

This will be a fun and friendly experience and is open to anyone aged 18+. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a bottle of water and a snack if necessary. Tea/Coffee and biscuits will be provided.
