The Annual General Meeting of Clonmel Theatre Guild was held in Raheen House Hotel on 27 June 2022.
Acting Chairperson Edmond Ryan welcomed all those in attendance. In his report Artistic Director Jim Malone spoke of his delight that the guild had managed to produce a highly successful & well attended dinner theatre play “Don’t Dress for Dinner” last December, especially in light of the Covid pandemic. He thanked all involved in the production.
Treasurer Tom Callery spoke of the healthy situation the guild is in. He was particularly happy that we were able to donate €1,200 to Cuan Saor from our dinner theatre production.
Those in attendance then had a very positive discussion about the guild and their thoughts on new projects for the future.
The New Committee for 2022/23 was then elected and are: –

Executive members – Suzanne Shine, Esther Byrne & Victoria Elliott
The new committee thanked outgoing committee members Jim Malone, Tom Callery, Carol Acheson, Adrienne Small, Patricia Keane & Breeda Hennessy for the immense work & their dedication to the guild over the years and said they looked forward to their continued involvement with the guild.
The committee will take a break for the summer and look forward meeting up again for the 2022/23 season in August to prepare for our annual Christmas Dinner Theatre production in Raheen.
