2017 AGM

Clonmel Theatre Guild held its AGM on Tuesday 4th July 2017.

Chairperson Carol Acheson told the members that 2016/17 was a highly successful year for the Guild and that she was delighted with all the guild achieved during the past year. She said the guild had staged two very successful productions with Murder at Mole End at dinner theatre in November and The Field in the White Memorial Theatre in May. In addition, the guild held a workshop for members to enhance their skills. She thanked all involved for their dedication and hard work during the year.

Giving the Artistic Director’s report, Edmond Ryan expressed his delight at the success of the two productions. He congratulated Carolanne Mullooly on her inaugural role as a director. He said The Field was as close as you could get to a sell-out. He was very pleased that guest director Anne Williamson was very complimentary of the guild and the support she received from the members. He thanked all involved and congratulated them on their success.

Treasurer Adrienne Small reported that the guild was in a healthy state.

President – Michael Hennessy
Chairperson – Carol Acheson
Artistic Director – Jim Malone
Secretary – Carolanne Mullooly
Treasurer – Adrienne Small
PRO – Tom Callery
Membership Secretary – Edmond Ryan
Research – Esther Byrne

Chairperson Carol Acheson welcomed the new members to the committee and thanked everyone for attending the AGM.

All expressed their delight at taking on their roles and look forward to announcing details of the 2017/18 season shortly.
