2015/16 was another successful season for Clonmel Theatre Guild who held their AGM on Thursday 26th May 2016. Outgoing Chairman Ger Meagher thanked the committee for their dedication and commitment to the guild over the past year. He was especially happy that the guild had run two successful workshops during the year, showing the guild’s commitment to training its own members, while encouraging members of the public to ‘try their hand’ at acting and drama.
Artistic Director Edmond Ryan expressed his delight that the guild had staged a sell out dinner theatre production of ‘The Communication Cord’ in Raheen House Hotel in March, which was very well received by the audience. He congratulated Paul Kelly on a directing a wonderful play.
The treasurer’s report showed the Guild to be in sound health.

The new Chairperson Carol Acheson thanked Ger Meagher and congratulated him on doing a wonderful job.
